For investigate, evaluate and yield comparison of lettuce heat resistance promising line with two control regions and determine suitable planting dates and row spacing, this project for two years (2008,2009) in spring season carried and planted in split -split plot at RCBD design with three replications in which main plots planting date at three levels (03/16, 03 /28, 04/09), subplots, row spacing at three levels (35, 40, 45 cm) and genotypes at three levels (promising line, control black and white lettuce) as a sub-sub plots. During the experiment, character include: marketable yield, number of irrigation, growth period, morphological character, head height, width and weight were recorded. Analyses of variance and comparison of mean with Duncan method were doing. Based on the results obtained in the first planting date, cultivar traits of cultivated at different distances, significant difference at 5% level were not together. In comparisons of the mean difference was not significant. In the second experiment, the results show that changing the row spacing has changed only yield and also genotypes. the most yield related for line in row was 35 cm. as for moisture stress occurs, results was not observed.
