The spreading of cereal diseases has to be avoided before these diseases lead to a yield reduction. This requires the control of diseases like powdery mildew, leaf spot, HTR, net blotch, rhynchosporium and rust already at growth stage 32-49. For this purpose now Simbo, a new foliar fungicide, is available. Simbo contains 125 g/l Propiconazol and 300g/l Fenpropimorph and can be used in wheat, barley and rye from the beginning of attack until growth stage 61 with 1 l/ha. Simbo has a broad spectrum of activity against foliar diseases on wheat, barley and rye. The mixture of the two active ingredients leads to higher efficacy even under critical application conditions and prevents a possible development of resistance against the single active ingredient from the very beginning.
