In Chongqing area applying GA for the preharvest treatment on Jin Cheng (Citrus sinensis Osbeck) fruits can delay the fruit maturation and keep the fruits fresh on the plant for 2-3 months. Accompanied by the use 2,4-D, the fruit setting rate could reach about 95%, and the fruit had bright colour, high content of soluble solids, with sweet and delicious taste. In general, when attention is paid to the cultural management, there would be no effect the production of next year.
