Rendimiento de papa criolla Solanum phureja y arveja, Pisum sativum L. e incidencia y severidad del dano causado por la polilla guatemalteca Tecia solanivora, Povolny, en dos sistemas de cultivo.

Este trabajo busco evaluar los sistemas de monocultivo y cultivo asociado en S. phureja y P. sativum, empleando diferentes densidades de siembra, asi mismo establecer la incidencia y severidad del dano causado po T. solanivora y la rentabilidad para cada tratamiento. Se evaluaron los sistemas, cultivos asociados con tres densidades de siembra para P. sativum momocultivo, mediante el conteo del numero de tuberculos totales, la produccion fue clasificada por calidades, la incidencia de la plaga se establecio sobre los tuberculos, en el area central de la parcela de 24m2, clasificandolos en cuatro niveles de dano, la rentabilidad se obtuvo sobre la produccion de calidades uno y dos, con el precio del mercado al momento de la cosecha, el cual para P. sativu era alto, mientras el de S. phureja era bajo. Se determino que la produccion en monocultivo fue mayor a la obtenida en los asociados, los cuales entre si, no presentaron diferencias, la incidencia encontrada fue indiferente al sistema de cultivo asociado con dos plantas de arveja intercaladas entre las de S. phureja sobre el mismo surco, asi mismo este arreglo presento el mayor valor de uso equivalente de la tierra, entre los tratamientos de cultivos asociados.

This work seek to evaluate the systems of solecropping and crop associated in S. phureja ans P. sativum, employing different sowing densities, also to establish the incidence and severity of the damage caused by. T. solanivora and the profitability for each treatment. There were evaluated the systems, solecropping and cultivation associated with three sowing densities for P. sativum in this last, through the count of the number of total tubers, the production was classified by qualities, the incidence of the pest was established on the tubers, in the central area of the plot of 24 m2, classifying them in four damage levels, the profitability was obtained on the production of qualities one and two, with the price of the market to the moment of the crop, the oe which for P. sativum was high, while that of S. phureja was low. It was determined that the production in solecropping was greater to the obtained in the associates, those which mutually, they did not present defferences, the found incidence was indifferent to the cultivation sustem, also with low severity levels, the greater profitability was that of solecropping of P. sativum, with a nearby value to the of the cultivatio associated with two plants of P. sativum intercalated between those of S. phureja en the same rut, also this arrangement presented the greater Land Equivalent Ratio, LER, between the associated cultivation treatments.
