Comportamento vegeto-produttivo di alcune cultivar di noce (Juglans regia L.) in Piemonte.

Inglés. Different walnut cultivars of foreign origin can be interesting to improve walnut cultivation in Italy. In this trial the cultivars Franquette, Pedro, Hartley and Serr were observed relating their vegetative and yielding habitus in a hilly Piedmont area. The number of total shoots, fertile shoots and fruits were counted on 1 - 2 - 3 years old branches. Data confirmed the good yielding aptitude of cvs Serr and Pedro, while cvs Hartley and Franquette showed a lower fruit bearing aptitude of the youngest branches.

In queste ricerche, le cultivar Franquette, Pedro, Hartley e Serr sono state osservate in relazione al loro comportamento vegeto-produttivo in una zona collinare del Piemonte. Il numero dei germogli totali, dei germogli fertili e dei frutti e' stato contato su branche di 1, 2 e 3 anni. I dati hanno confermato la buona produttivita' delle cultivar Serr e Pedro, mentre le cultivar Hartley e Franquette hanno mostrato una minor attitudine a produrre frutti delle branche piu' giovani].
