Growth response of three potato varieties of different maturity groups was investigated at Munshiganj, Bangladesh with reference to plant height, number of main stems, fresh and dry weight of foliage, number of effective compound leaves and tuber yield as influenced by planting and lifting time and environment factors. The results of the study indicated the balanced plant growth and maximum tuber yields were obtained by late planting during winter months. K. Sindhuri produced the highest yield followed by Cardinal and Patrones. Vegetative growth and its duration were positively correlated with bulking rates and the final tuber yield.
