A degree of vine stock load with the fertile buds and the applied pruning system expressed considerable effect on the investigated indexes. The increase of the vine stock load with the fertile buds expressed positive impact on the number of developed and fertile shoots, the number of clusters and height of the yield, especially in Italian Riesling. The best results, in both investigated cultivars, were obtained through the vine stock load with 26 buds, and through the mixed pruning system, with two canes with 10 buds and three spurs. Generally, cv. White Riesling, clone 239 Gm, have shown better results than cv. Italian Riesling.
