Demographical analysis of relations between religiosity and reproduction of inhabitants in Slovak Republic is presented. The comparison of indicators of demographical reproduction and religion indicates that districts with higher religion of inhabitants have also favourable values of reproduction. It is typical for rural districts of northern Slovakia. Very unfavourable situation is found in southern districts of Slovakia. In these districts, mortality of inhabitants exceeds natality. Values of natural increase are in the range between -0,05 to -2,08. There are also the lowest values of abortion and divorce rates in religion districts. It is very important for the future favourable demographical evolution to maintain inhabitants of rural areas mainly through creating of new working opportunities.
