Ground water is mostly vulnerable to pollution most of all in the zone of solid and liquid waste dumps as well as ash dumps. On the basis of natural and modelled investigations a complex of measures is offered for the protection of ground waters in the zone of closed dumps, for the pumping out of polluted waters and their further use. The investigation also presents fundamental technical solutions. It is offered to use a material of ash dumps for the conservation of dumps.
