Blood samples of grand parents were collected from three imported modern broiler breeds, the genetic polymorphism of esterase (ES-1), alkaline phosphatase (Akp), amylase (Amy) of plasma were examined by the polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis techniques. Data on their phenotypes and gene frequencies of the three loci were calculated and genetic constitution of population could be analysed. The results indicated that the distribution of phenotype frequencies of the alkaline phosphatase could be used as supplemented means of defining parents location in crossing. The cluster analysis in three grand parents could be used as a means of selecting parents before the measurement of the combining ability.
