Response of plants cultivated in rotation to immediate and after effects of fertilization with copper in doses 5, 10 and 20 kg/ha was examined in 1978-1984. It was stated that the dose of 10 kg used in solution once on soil under wheat increased considerably yield of plants cultivated in rotation only on strong loamy sand. Fertilization with 20 kg of Cu per lowered yields. The most favourable, taking into account yields, copper content in winter wheat, sugar beets, corn and bean was fixed. Low efficiency of wheat fertilization with copper and higher efficiency of its after effects in cultivation of sugar beets and horse bean were proved. The dose of 10 kg of copper per 1 hectare was the most effective. It caused significant grow of yield calculated in cereal feed units.
