Sprinkling influenced the uptake of macroelements by increases of yields and changes in the content of components in dry matter. Although there were considerable differences between species in the uptake of macroelements due to sprinkling effect, application of this practice did not change the succession of plants with regard to the amounts of components taken out in yields from soil. Sprinkling has caused an increase in the uptake of nitrogen in crop rotation A (early potatoes + fodder cabbage (as aftercrop) - oats - field bean - winter wheat) by 40.9 per cent and in crop rotation B (late potatoes - spring barley - winter rape - winter wheat) by 9.9 per cent, phosphorus by 58.9 and 23.7 per cent respectively; potassium by 58.7 and 22.4 per cent, magnesium by 54.6 and 21.8 per cent, calcium by 55.6 and 20.0 per cent, sodium by 128.3 and 35.9 per cent.
