6 Trials were conducted for studying the effect of 250 ppm. furazolidone in swine feed at the college farm of Chulalongkorn University, in Nakhon pathom, during September 1983 - November 1984. The ADG, FCR, feed intake per day showed no distinguishable difference; but furazolidone in such level when given for a long feeding period caused also no sign of negative performance. We believe that in the well hygienic farm with proper management, the medicated feed seem to be of less value as in this case.
