Among heifer groups concepted after the first, second, third or more inseminations, there are differences in the number of calves born during their life-span, total milk production, percentage of puerperal endometritis, index of insemination and number of lactations during a reproductive life. It is more likely that this is a result of a genetic conditioning of a hormonal and metabolic status of an organism.
