From the 6th to 11th week of growth, plant height increased with increasing amount of fertilizer up to 90-50-318 with or without Cl. The optimum amount for earlier growth (5th to 8th week) was 60-60-50-212-0. Tallest plants were produced using 90-50-318-0 kg/ha. The optimum for increase leaf area were 90-50-318-0 (1388.4 sq. cm.) and 90-50-318-240 (1343.4 sq. cm.). Highest yield (2.19-2.35 t/ha) was produced using 60-50-212-0, 90-50-318-0 and 120-50-425-320. The highest crop value was obtained from 90-50-318-0 (P24,836) and 120-50-425-320 (P25,519). Grade index was not affected by treatments.
