Skin samples of 5 adult camels were collected immediately after slaughtering. In conclusion, the blood vessels in the skin of the camel were arranged in 3 layers, viz. deep, middle, and superficial. Blood flow was regulated by the presence of epithelioid arterioles as well as AVA as these structures were present in large number in the middle region of the skin which could shut blood to the deep and the superficial layers according to the physiological needs.
