BAHASA: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui penggunaan pupuk anorganik (urea, TSP dan KCl) terhadap pertumbuhan populasi Chlorella sp. Penelitian dilakukan di ruang alga dengan menggunakan botol serum volume 500 ml yang berisi air sumur. Perlakuan ialah penggunaan 3 macam pupuk anorganik dan campurannya; yaitu urea (800 ppm), campuran urea (800 ppm) dan KCl (40 ppm), campuran urea (800 ppm) dan TSP (15 ppm), campuran urea (800 ppm), KCl (40 ppm) dan TSP (15 ppm), serta tanpa penggunaan pupuk (kontrol). Rancangan percobaan ialah rancangan acak lengkap, tiga ulangan. Penebaran awal Chlorella sp. ialah 0,5 juta sel/ml. Media kultur disinari lampu neon 40 watt dan diaerasi terus menerus, selama 15 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan penggunaan campuran pupuk urea (800 ppm), KCl (40 ppm) dan TSP (15 ppm) memperlihatkan hasil yang lebih baik terhadap pertumbuhan populasi Chlorella dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya, dengan populasi Chlorella tertinggi 6,05 juta sel/ml, terjadi pada hari ke-9.
Mostrar más [+] Menos [-]Inglés. The experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of organic fertilizers (Urea, TSP and KCl) on the population growth of Chlorella sp. The experiment was carried out in algal room using serum bottles each containing 500 ml of natural water. Five kinds of treatment were evaluated, i.e., urea (800 ppm), a combination of urea (800 ppm) and KCl (40 ppm), a combination of urea (800 ppm) and TSP (15 ppm), a combination of urea (800 ppm), KCl (10 ppm) and TSP (15 ppm), and natural water only. The experimental design used was the complete randomize design. Initial stocking rate was 0.5 million Chlorella cells per ml. The culture media were aerated 24 hours a day. The results of the experiment showed that the combination of urea (800 ppm). KCl (40 ppm) and TSP (15 ppm) was the most suitable fertilizer for the growth of Chlorella giving an average cell density of 6.05 million cells per ml on the 9th day of culture.
