The incidence of Leptospirosis associated with abortion and infertility of dairy cattles was studied. A total of 105 sera samples from cows with history of repeated abortion and breeding from Rachburi Province were identified by macroscopic slide agglutination test. The results showed that 49 cows (46.67%) and 35 cows (33.33%) were identified as reactors and suspecius, respectively. The leptospira serotypes found were L. canicola, 49.9%, L. pomona, 36.7%, L. icterohemorrhagiae, 16.3%, and L. hardjo, 2.5% of all the reactors. The serotypes identified in all of suspecius group were L. pomona (45.7), L. canicola (22.8%), L. hardjo (20%), L. grippotyphosa (5.8%), and L. hyos (5.8%). These findings indicated that leptospira infection was rather common in the area, and prompt measures are needed for treatment, prevention and irradication of the disease.
