The experiments were carried out on a forest brown reddish soil moderate leached (5,6-5,8 pH) with a low humus content (2.0-2.5%) slightly supplied with phosphorus and moderate supplied with potassium. The early seeding, at a temperature of 40 gr.C in the seed bed variety had a high sugar content (16.1%) and the Stupini variety a much lower one (14.4%). The equilibrate fertilization with nitrogen and phosphorus was extremely necessary, the N120P80 dose proved to be efficient for the sugar beet crop that came after soybeans. The 40 t/ha manure dose was also very well used. The foliar fertilizers determined the yield increase with 3-5% at roots and 4-6% at sugar. The use of Ro-neet 8 l/ha + Venzar 0.5-1.0 kg/ha(PPI) + Betanal 6 l/ha post -emergent was efficient. The early harvesting (15.Aug.) determined great root and sugar losses as compared to the late harvesting.
