Wheat makes an efficient use of chemical fertilizers, the nitrogenous ones in particular. The nitrogen fertilizers cause high yield increases, both in the wheat-soybean rotation and in the rotation with maize. The most efficient nitrogen rate for wheat in rotation with soybean is 90 kg/ha and for wheat in rotation with maize 120 kg N/ha. By using the yield functions, the most efficient economical rate of nitrogen was calculated for wheat in both rotations. The most efficient economical rate of nitrogen in the wheat-soybean rotation is 97 kg/ha and in the wheat-maize rotation 132 kg/ha. The mobile phosphate content of the medium leached chernozem at Draganesti-Vlasca is relatively high: 29,0-45,0 ppm. For this reason, the application of phosphatic fertilizers in wheat, in the absence of irrigation, is not economical. In order to maintain the phosphatic fertility it is necessary to apply a maintenance of phosphatic rate 50-55 kg/ha P2O5 every year. The nitrogen-phosphorus interaction is negative in both rotations, due to the weak effect of the phosphorus fertilizers application.
