This paper presents the results of managing forest populations of hares and pheasants, as the economically most important species of small game in hunting ground of Hunting Association of Serbia. Analysis covered the trend of the number of stem Funds listed species of wild animals, by region of Serbia, and the degree of population. Percentage of usage these populations does not follow the trend in population. Differences between regions are present. Population percentages of use are significantly below the options, where the impact of losses because of various exogenous factors with the highest. Based on analysis of state management of wildlife populations studied, the proposed measures are growing to include factors that breeders may directly or indirectly act.
