Herpesvirus infections in cattle are considered the most abundant infections. The reason for testing the presence of viruses, as well as the consequential disease, is primarily a major impact on the health status of the virus in all categories of cattle, often with unpredictable consequences, which in economic terms represent a limiting factor for the development and improvement of cattle. Of the tested cattle in 10 municipalities in the South Backa District (Serbia), the minimum number of infected cattle BHV1 virus recorded in Bački Petrovac municipality, the largest in the area of Beočin.
