Efficacy assessment of herbicide sulcotrion and its combination with five other herbicides for weed control in maize, were carried out in 2009. at the locality Sremska Mitrovica (Serbia). Herbicides were applied after sowing, before and after germination of maize and weeds, in different amounts. Based on the obtained results, it can be concluded that sulcotrion features a wide range of activity and high selectivity. The combination of sulcotrion and some other herbicides extends the range of action, as may also be expanded on annual and perennial weeds, and the other broadleaf weed species.
