Matter handled in this doctoral dissertation is based on the study of physical-chemical parameters of mineral water in middle of Backa in Vojvodina part of Pannonian Basin, and generalized two-component behaviour of the system gas-liquid, methane-water system, on the average of two phases. The aim and task of the doctoral dissertation is a geological and physical- chemical analysis of the terrain as a medium of Backa space particularly rich in specific kinds of natural resources in the form of liquid methane system – thermal mineral water, with the existing problem of present distribution of gas in the liquid phase, and determining the correlation between physical – chemical parameters of mineral water, and the development of a model two-phase two-component system gas – liquid in case of methane – water. The main task of creating the model was based on existing mathematical relations methane – water, with the new model tested on the experimental results obtained by field and laboratory measurements of methane water from the area of the Pannonian Basin. Based on the developed and modified the new model, the research objective was to use research results in technical and technological purposes when using these waters for energy purposes, as well as application in the field of environmental protection, the occurrence of methane released from mineral water in the atmosphere, or products of combustion, and the impact of climate change.
