Estimated weekly intake of mercury through fish consumption in Serbian population

Based on FAO/WHO recommended safe limit of 5 microg/kg b.w./week and on obtained results, we can conclude that the intake of mercury in the case of consuming imported hake, mackerel and canned tuna or domestically breeded carp and trout is lower than the safe limit.
