The vascular flora of canal Bečej-Bogojevo comprises 39 hydrophytes (9 submersed, 9 floating, 21 emersed plants). Species Myriophyllum spicatum. Potamogeton crispus and Trapa natans, invasive species of global significance (according to the World Programme the Global Invasive Species program of the World Conservation Union) are detected in the investigated canal. With the same program, species Ceratophyllum demersum, Elodea canadensis, Hydrocharis morsus-ranae, Potamogeton perfoliatus, Potamogeton crispus and Trapa natans are characterized as invasive species for Europe region. In canal Bečej-Bogojevo was found Nuphar luteum (L.) Sm. protectd plant species as natural rarities.
