Woody weed species represent special plant group that inhibit channel banks, ruderal sites, railroads, swamps, pastures comprehending compound group of different adoptive plant types. The represent one of the major problems for they can obstruct water flow in the channel network. The most frequent weed species established on the territory of the DTD hydro-system are the following: Amorpha fruticosa L., Robinia pseudoacacia L., Prunus spinosa L., Morus sp., Crataegus laevigata (Poir) DC, Populus nigra L., Populus alba L., Populus tremula L., Rubus caesius L., Sambucus nigra L. and Salix alba L. measures for control for aquatic weeds can be mechanical, chemical and biological.
