Lead in soil originates from mother substrate (Gornji Adrovac location) or it has anthropogenic origin. One of them is traffic. Comparing lead concentration in soil in Draževac location (average distance 50 m from highway E-75) and Deligrad location (control group) it is confirmed that lead concentration in soil of agricultural parcel near the road is higher than in soil of agricultural parcel that is far from the road. Concentration of heavy metals in soil at agricultural parcels near traffic is higher than in soil of agricultural parcels that are placed far from the road. We can make a conclusion from this fact that traffic at agricultural parcels by Aleksinac-Trupale road, as source of soil pollution by lead, is not the significant pollution source because concentrations of lead in soil and in wheat are in permitted limits, regulated by Law. Traffic as a source of lead in agricultural parcel has not influenced to the increasing of lead in soil.
