The emergence of complex respiratory diseases in cattle predisposes a number of external factors, primarily the compilation of a number of weaned calves in feedlots. Bovine Herpes Virus type-1, Parainfluenza-3 virus, Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus and Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus predisposes to bacterial infection. In nasal swabs from beef cattle have isolated the bacteria Pasteurella multocida, Staphylococcus albus, Streptococcus viridans, Str. pneumoniae, Bacillus sp., E. coli, Naisseria cattarhalis, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Micrococcus sp. whose resistance was investigated by the disk-diffusion method. For the same samples, using the method of Real Time PCR (RT-PCR), we did not determine the genome sequences of IBR and BVD virus.
