The aim of this study was to determine the influence of soil type, depth and time of plowing the Pannonian thyme herb yield. Field trials were set up to Pancevo and Starcevo sites, the model of completely random block method in four replications. Ploughing the land was carried out in autumn 2009 and spring 2010 at the depth of 20 to 30 cm. Planting seedlings in the Pannonian thyme experiments was done in October 2010. Soil type, depth and time of plowing showed very significant influence on the yield of herb Pannonian thyme. Very significantly higher yield of herb thyme has been made in alluvium, autumn plowing to a depth of 30 cm in relation to land in the marsh soil type, spring plowing at a depth of 20 cm.
