The workflow of the forestry maps creation in Slovakia is currently specified by approved "Standard of digital map work with the content of forestry". This applicable standard describes the basic concepts, structure and technical parameters of the forestry map work. It defines the catalog of mapped elements that create the basic content of the map. "Clearly" defines the principles of the forestry digital map creation, it's height and positional accuracy and cartographic modification into subsequent map output suitable for further processing in various information systems.
