Control of the apple scab using early forecasting and warning system adapted into regional conditions | Elmada karaleke hastalığının önceden tahmin ve erken uyarı sistemi ile mücadelesinde kullanılan bir modelin bölgesel koşullara uyarlanması

Inglés. This study was conducted using Jersey Mac, Melrose, Cooper and Starking Delicious varieties in Centre of Agricultural Research and Application of Uludag University during 2004-2005. Climate data were obtained from AY-KON meteorology station located in experimental orchard. Studies had three major objectives. The first objective was to determine the ascospore flight of apple scab (Venturia inaequalis) according to degree-day method for optimal timing of first fungicide application. Another objective was to find out the days that were not suitable for penetration based on the leaf wetness duration for secondary infections. The last objective was to investigate the efficacy of control by fungicide application schedule using disease forecasting and traditional plant phenology.

This study was conducted using Jersey Mac, Melrose, Cooper and Starking Delicious varieties in Centre of Agricultural Research and Application of Uludag Bu çalısma Uludag Üniversitesi Tarımsal Uygulama ve Arastırma Merkezi 'nde (=TUAM) Jersey Mac, Melrose, Cooper ve Starking Delicious çesitleri ile 2004 ve 2005 yetistiricilik mevsimleri boyunca yapılmıstır. Çalısmada kullanılan iklim verileri uygulama bahçesine kurulmus olan AY-KON firmasının saha meteoroloji istasyonundan alınmıstır. Çalısma üç ana amaca yönelik olarak yürütülmüstür. Bunlardan birincisi, ilk ilaçlama zamanının belirlenmesinde kullanılan ilk askospor uçusunun gün-derece olarak belirlenmesi olmustur. Digeri hastalıgın sekonder enfeksiyonları için gerekli yaprak ıslaklık süreleri dikkate alınarak penetrasyon için uygun olmayan günlerin belirlenmesidir. Çalısmanın son amacı ise erken uyarıya ve geleneksel bitki fenolojisine dayalı bir ilaçlama programının hastalık kontrolündeki etkililiklerini belirlemek olmustur.
