In this study, societal sex roles, needs, resources and conditions of households engaged in farming in Tokat Province of Turkey were studied, and the significance of sexadjusted rural development approach was stressed. The survey included 171 women and their husbands living in 34 villages of Central District and some other districts of Tokat Province.

Bu arastırmada, Tokat i'nde, tarımsal faaliyetle ugrasan hane halkının, toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri, ihtiyaçları, kaynakları ve kosulları incelenerek, cinsiyet dengeli kırsal kalkınma yaklasımının önemi vurgulanmaya çalısılmıstır. Arastırma Tokat li Merkez ve çelerine baglı toplam 34 köyde yasayan 171 kadın ve onların eslerini kapsamaktadır.
