Identification of ingredients included in shrimp feeds to stimulate feed intake

The experiments were conducted to determine the inclusion of ingredients as Chile fish meal, fish hydrolysates, krill meal and a betain product (Finnstim) that effect to the feeding incitant and feed intake of shrimp (P.monodon) with mean weigh 15.5 g. These attractant ingredients were added to a base diet at between 5 and 50 g kg. The first step was examined in the composite tanks to observe the attractant response. The maximum attractant response was attained when the diet contained Chile fish meal (5%). The fish meal in the feed intake ratio and the number of attracted shrimp at the feeding tray. However, there are no significantly difference of FIR and the attracted shrimp between the remain diets.
