Modern potato-cultivating equipment causes high pressing effect on soil. During the next potato treatment soil crumbling causes creation of small particles, possessing high level of adhesiveness. The most important questions of substantiation of the criteria of evaluation of soil adhesiveness to the potato tubers are analyzed in the article. Drive system of tractors causes pressure on soil equal 100-150 kPa. Influence of drive system leads to soil density increase up to 0,5 meters. Because of this potato growth conditions decline along with the increasing of soil adhesiveness to potato tubers. Adhesiveness is significant for loamy and peat soils in wet conditions. Particular characteristics of loosen peat soil are presented. Dependence between total output "according the pole" P and average diameter of d-fractions in logarithmic coordinates is shown. Percentage of fraction output is displayed. The following conclusions are made: pressure of drive system of agricultural equipment along with physical and mechanical properties of the soil directly influence on soil adhesiveness; compacted soil possesses unsatisfactory fraction composition with small particles; increase of soil dispersion raises the level of soil adhesiveness to the potato tubers.
