In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was examined the process of granulating combined feeds on press-granulators with ring vertical matrix. There were established the factors which influence specific energy consumption of the process of granulating. There were obtained analytical models, which could describe the influence of the content of grain crops, meals and oils in the composition of combined feed, specific consumption of vapour and coefficient of the working surface of matrix on the specific energy consumption of the process of grinding and the productivity of press-granulator. There was analyzed the influence of process parameters on the specific energy consumption and productivity of press-granulator with the use of Pareto map and response surface. There was conducted optimization of the process of granulating combined feeds for poultry with the use of maximin strategy. There were determined optimal parameters of the process of granulating, which help to achieve minimal specific energy consumption at the set productivity of press-granulator.
