In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was studied the influence of a preserving agent dresser on silo quality and composition and to determine the efficiency of milk production after feeding the silo produced in combination with a dry feed additive. There were presented the results on use of preserving agent dressers (sapropelic fodder additives) foe preparation of a silo. Application of preservatives in the process of silage fermentation made it possible to lower solid losses (on 7,9-9,6%), a crude protein (on 12.6-15,0%), sugar (on 45-55%), carotin (on 22.3-23.6%) and to receive a forage with concentration of metabolizable energy 9.68-9.70 MDj. Preparation of a silo with the examined preservatives made it possible to increase the content of containing in it mineral elements: calcium on 0.92-1.52 gram, phosphorus - on 0.04-0.20 gram, sulfurs - on 0.02-0.11 g, copper - on 0.54-0.57 mg, zinc - on 7.6-7.7 gram, cobalt - on 0.12 mg, iodine - on 0.15 mg. The content of carotin has made 19,2-19,4 mg. Silo enrichment with the preservative in the structure of milking cow diet increased the dairy efficiency by 5.7-7.3%, improved the milk chemical composition.
