In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented results of research into traction resistance of two-disc ploughshare with zero angle of slope of discs and symmetrically mounted from the outer side truncated-conical ledges-furrow-formers. Total traction resistance of experimental two-disc ploughshare is a combination of horizontal components of the resistance of the ledge during its movement in the soil, friction forces and dynamic loads on it. In addition, the same horizontal components affect the flat ploughshare disc. In course of the study there was presented a scheme of an experimental the double-disk ploughshare (furrow opener) for the determination of the total tractive resistance with addition of the horizontal constituent parts. There was analysed the dependence of the tractive resistance on the constructive and technological parameters of the double-disk ploughshare with the zero angle of attack and external topped-and- conical bearing rib furrow-openers.
