Hamedan province produced 50 percent of the country's garlic. Considering the bulk of its exports attention to its quality could play an important role on marketing in the world. Nutrients addition increased yield also play a major role in improving product quality. Therefore, to evaluate the effects of zinc and manganese on garlic yield and quality this project was implemented with 12 treatments and 3 replications in the form of factorial experiment based on randomized complete block design. Treatments included four levels of zinc 0, 20, 40 and 60 kg per ha and three levels of manganese sulfate, 0, 20 and 40 kg per hectare. Results showed that main effect of zinc fertilizer on yield of garlic, the bulb zinc content and the amount of enzyme and non-enzymatic pyruvate was significant (p=0.05) and the highest yield obtained from application of 20 kg per ha zinc sulfate at the rate of 8000 kg per ha and lowest yield (5885 kg per hectare) was for control treatment respectively. Main effects of manganese on the iron concentration in leaves and tubers was significant (p=0.05) and leaf iron content decreased by manganese levels increasing. Manganese treatment had not significant effect on other measured factors. The interaction between zinc and manganese on the iron concentration of leaves was significant.
