Points of view: management of livestock disease

This article uses the Foot and Mouth disease as a springboard for discussions about transborder diseases that effect livestock.this edition provides a number of opinions, extracts of speeches, texts and interviews with actors involved in this issue. Most fundmentally the article makes that point that with an increasingly globalised system of trade, the transmission of transborder diseases globally is of growing importance to the international community.
