To select and release high-yielding and adaptable barley vaneties for moderate zone. are used introduction varieties containing appropriate traits(high-yielding, resistance to diseases. high quality, and adaptable) in addition to national varieties. In this study, nine barley nurseries from ICARDA and CIMMYT including: three yield trials .and six observation nurseries were evaluated. Variance analysis of grain yield showed significant difference among genotypes in lBYT-MRA. IBYT-LRA-M and IBYT-eIM. Mean comparison of yield among genotypes revealed that genotypes 12, 13, 8 and 23 inLBYT-MRA and genotypes 4, 12, 5 and 7 in IBYT-LRA-M and' genotypes 18, 25. 7. 23 and J 2 in lEYT-eIM had the highest yield respectively. Observation nurseries were includinz: two hulless and four hulled barlev nurseries. In overall. taking into considermion plant height and type. eLlrl;' maturity. resistance to diseases and lodging and grain yield, from 981 evaluated genotypes. 341 entries were selected and conducted to preliminary experiments ofhulled and hulless barley of moderate zone in nexryear,'
