Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a concept that occupies an increasingly important place in the whole business. In this paper we analyze the implementation of the concept of corporate social responsibility in the major dairy enterprises in Slovakia. Analytic - synthetic method was used in the first part of the paper and the questionnaire was used to survey opinions of customers. The analysis and research has shown that the concept of CSR significantly affects the business activities of some dairy farms in Slovakia, but some of them have large reserves. The majority of respondents feel poorly informed about the application of social responsibility activities in the dairies in Slovakia, but it is important for them to buy products produced by socially responsible businesses. In the respondents opinion it is very important for business to present their CSR activities to the public.
