[A Study of Fungal Diseases Prevalent on Silkworm bombyx mori L.(Lipedoptera:Bombycidae) in Syria]

5 types of fungi that infect silkworm Bombyx mori L. have been isolated in Syria in spring aerutin and autumn aerutin during 2012 on larval ages: third, fourth and fifth. The strain was used in rearing is the North Korean which breed disease-tolerant and high productivity of silk. The silkworms larvae that have shown satisfactory symptoms and abnormal behavior have been isolated and they have been collected form Damascus and Tartus, after their death their surface sterilized with alcohol to eliminate the throws and then the larvae have been sterile in distilled water, then they were planted in Petri dishes containing PDA environment then they were examined developing fungal colonies, and their spores were examined as well under an optical microscope to determined them. Fungi that have been recorded are: Beauveria bassiana _ Aspergillus flavus _ Aspergillus niger _ Nomuraea rileyi _ Penicillium chrysogenum The percentage incidence was calculated of these fungi on silkworm larvae in three ages in tow Aerutin.
