Study on tide and simulation model of tidal current in the Prasae river mouth was considered on the tide, tidal current and the model application. The goal of the research was that the result of study could be used to explain the present status and predicted future physical situation of study area. The study consisted of many factors which impacted on the tidal currents. The results of research would be applied for developing the hydrodynamic model (Princeton Ocean Model, POM). The topography of Prasae river mouth, there are three islands stand from the north to south, Ko Man Nai, Ko Man Klang and Ko Man Nok. They are far from land about 5-10 km. The wind speed in April to May, 2010 was 1-10 m/sec. Direction of the wind that blew toward the coast was the south wind. According to the calibration of the model with the raw data, we found that the tidal current and tide of the model were reliable. The tide was diurnal tide which period was approximately 25 hours and tidal range was 1.5 m. The tidal current flowed parallel along the coast line. The main flow was westward flow during flood tide and eastward flow during ebb tide. During ebb tide, the eastern side of the Ko Man Nai, Ko Man Klang and Ko Man Nok had the eddy. The water movement was counterclockwise flow. The tidal current rate in the main flow was 30-40 cm/sec and near the coast was 5-15 cm/sec.
