In course of the research there were analyzed factors and conditions of strengthening of competitiveness of the dairy industry enterprises on an example of the organizations of the Minsk region of the Republic of Belarus. As a result of realized research it was revealed that as a whole the competitiveness of the processing industry branch was defined by dynamics of growth of the added cost on the basis of efficiency increase of use of production factors. In this connection in branch it is necessary to carry to number of the major factors of competitiveness: concentration of milk processing by a principle of maximization of financial result from milk ton; specialization of production; existing structure and volume of demand for dairy production; volume and dynamics of growth of the added cost; raw materials security; investments into re-equipment; updating of commodity assortment; production advancement on commodity markets, and also a stage of life cycle of the enterprise. Assessment of competitiveness becomes the starting point in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the company and its competitors in that from one hand helps prevent severe forms of competition, on the other - to use their advantages and market opportunities. Management factors and the impact on the conditions affecting the competitiveness of the processing facility allow to reach a certain level of competitive advantage that will strengthen its position in the market.
