Economic efficiency of agro-industrial production is defined by presence and rational use of material base, the replacement of which now is connected with a number of problems. In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus on the basis of the realized study there were stated certain proposals for the development of replacement process of material-technical base, which could be used both and macro- and micro- level. Their essence is in quantitative calculation of material and technical base replacement level on the basis of scientifically proved three-stage actions (determination of the basic means gain coefficient; calculation of material inputs index in a comparable estimation; calculation of integrated coefficient of material base reproduction). In the process of realization of the presented actions, there was taken into account the modern conception of essence of material and technical base as a set of basic means and industrial stocks. Practical application of the developed offers made it possible to analyze and estimate the dynamics of material base development in agriculture.
