Poultry farms, cattle farms and pig-breeding farms, as well as processing workshops of enterprises do not relate to the main suppliers of hazardous substances into the atmosphere, but are the main source of substances into the atmosphere with a sharp and unpleasant odor, often called smelling substances. Environmental pollution with smelling emissions has become a big social problem, and the only way to solve it is to clean the ventilation air from smelling substances before it is released into the atmosphere. One of the methods of purification of smelling air is thermally defusing, particularly combustion, but at low concentrations of contaminants efficacy of this method is greatly reduced. A highly effective method of burning is a pulsating combustion. Pulsating combustion is called unstable combustion mode with time-varying dynamic characteristics of the process, having a periodic component. The article analyzes the influence of temperature fluctuations on the macrokinetics of the reactions, appearing during heat treatment of ventilation emissions of agricultural enterprises. As a result of the research the following conclusion is made: the state of pulsating combustion can be used for disposal of waste gases of low concentrations (eg for thermal cleaning of ventilation air poultry plants, livestock farms and pig farms and processing plants of these companies, which are the main source of substances into the atmosphere with a sharp and unpleasant odor).
