In course of the research there were considered pressing questions of modern industrial pig breeding, which concern the organization of breeding work with tribal herds with a view to form maternal and paternal parental forms for hybridization. Methods of pig productive quality improvement, genetic and population parameters - heritability, variability and correlative connection in the evaluation and improvement of economically useful pig traits, pig heterosis, adaptation and acclimatization of meat genotypes; using of DNA technologies in pig husbandry to improve reproductive qualities at animals of source rocks and fattening and meat quality at animals of paternal breed were resulted. The methods for forecasting in a number of generations of evaluation of pig productive qualities of various breeds at rock-linear hybridization in order to obtain the highest heterosis effect were set out. The characteristic of pig breeds, which breeding in Belarus, valuation of the general, specific, and associative combining ability of maternal and paternal forms of different pig breeds, biological and technological techniques and methods to increase the level of intensity and duration of use of sows were presented; adaptation and acclimatization of pigs in conditions of industrial technology, physical properties and chemical composition of meat and fat of pigs of various breeds and other issues were shown.
