Modélisation de la propagation du virus de la diarrhée virale bovine dans un troupeau laitier : influence de la conduite des animaux en lots

Francés. Dans les troupeaux laitiers, les animaux sont séparés en lots selon leur âge et stade physiologique. La structuration d’une population en groupes peut modifier la transmission horizontale d’un agent infectieux en induisant une hétérogénéité de la probabilité de transmission du virus selon les contacts entre groupes. L’objectif de cet article est l’étude de l’influence de la structuration d’un troupeau sur la propagation du virus de la diarrhée virale bovine (BVD). L’étude a été réalisée avec un modèle stochastique. Deux niveaux de contacts entre lots ont été simulés : absence de contact et niveau élevé de contacts. Pour les simulations, le virus a été introduit par l’achat d’une génisse infectée de façon permanente, immunotolérante (IPI). La propagation du virus a été simulée sur 10 ans avec 600 réplications par niveau de contacts. Les niveaux de contacts entre lots influencent la vitesse et l’étendue de la propagation du virus. Par conséquent, les modèles développés pour étudier la propagation du virus BVD doivent prendre en compte cette structuration de la population en lots et le degré de séparation de ces lots.

Inglés. In dairy herds, animals are separated into subgroups according to their age and reproductive status. The management of animals into subgroups can influence the horizontal transmission by inducing an heterogeneity of probability of transmission according to the level of contacts between subgroups. The aim of this paper is the study of the influence of the separation into subgroups on the spread of the Bovine Viral Diarrhoea Virus (BVDV). The study was carried out with a stochastic model. Two levels of contacts between subgroups were simulated: no contact and high contacts. For simulation, the virus was introduced in the herd by the purchase of a freshening PI heifer and simulated over 10 years with 600 replications for each level of contacts. The levels of contacts between subgroups influenced the BVDV spread and the extent of the virus spread. Consequently, the BVDV models have to consider the separation of animals into subgroups which induces an heterogeneity in the virus transmission.
