A field experiment was conducted at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore during Kharif, 2006 to study the physiological manipulation for enhancing the productivity in green gram with value added liquid humic acid formulation. The growth regulators significantly influenced various physiological and biochemical parameters. The pigments responsible for photosynthesis such as Chlorophyll, total chlorophyll and yield were favourably influenced by foliar spray of 0.1% humic acid with 0.1 ppm brassinosteroid treatment. In the present study, higher chlorophyll content and yield was observed with brassinosteroid spray followed by Benzyl Adenine and Salicylic acid applications
